343 Industries Showcases The Human Weaponry of Halo 4
Over the next few weeks, 343 Industries and Microsoft Game Studios will be releasing videos showcasing and detailing Halo 4’s arsenal of advanced Human, Covenant and Forerunner-based weaponry. This week they’ve shown us the first of that series of videos, focusing entirely on showing off the guns in action – which means shooting them, and shooting them a lot.
That said, we’ve got two trailers for you to glaze over (talk about an ordinance drop, huh?) – one with music, one without. One is your more traditional trailer, blending gameplay with music deemed appropriate by the developer or publisher. The other is designed to showcase the audio design behind the game without overpowering it with blaring electronic tones and insensitive WUB WUB WUBS – audio design which has so far revealed itself to be punchy and solid as a rock.
Next time one of these hits, 343i says we’ll be seeing a similar video, but one focused on Covenant weaponry. Wort Wort.
Three of you got that reference, I’m sure.
If you’d like more Halo, check out this week’s Halo Bulletin.

I wonder how the sniper rifle does against vehicles…
Yea I wonder if the spartan laser still can basically destroy anything or if it’s stronger :gamertag:zombie0slayer97
I hate to be THAT guy but it seems like they really went all COD on the Halo 4 multiplayer.
this looks nothing like cod
No, I agree with you. It’s kinda upsetting for me, someone who holds Halo 2 and 3′s multiplayer so close. But what can you do?
Ill be pissed if the sniper can still take out every vehicle in 4 shots or less. WTF were they thinking???
No idea why there was a dubstep version when the normal video with the gun sounds seemed rather better but whatever. (Strange new generation we are in…) Seems Decoy is back, that is kinda a good thing, very useful if you fight anyone that is trigger happy and use it to trick them up to kill them. I assume the Spartan helmet symbol meant Promethean Vision, all the UNSC guns seem pretty good though kinda still wanna see SMGs return someday perhaps. Lastly, I think the changes seem rather new and a interesting turn, comparison to CoD means you don’t know the games before CoD and such but eh… What are ya going to do with these 7 year old CoD players, am I right? Halo 4, overall, seems fun, hopefully plays as well, and just really can’t wait for all this new stuff that they included that will either be good, or just the usual over-hype.
I can see people griefing with the sticky launcher…
