Persona 5 in Production
A post on Andriasang from earlier today has all the news that’s fit to print from Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu. And among the many tidbits included in the post’s news roundup was the revelation that Katsura Hashino says his staff is hard at work on the next installment in Atlus’s Persona franchise, which is, you know, Persona 5. According to the post, “Shigenori Soejima has submitted sketches, and the game is making progress.”
Well hot diggity damn. If you’re a fan of weird, trippy Japanese role playing games that blend elements of Jungian psychology (according to the Wikipedia entry on the series), then Persona’s the game for you. I’m sure Lawrence could tell me all about how it’s awesome and how he likes to play it in between watching episodes of Power Rangers on Netflix and bowls of Oh’s. But to be completely honest, I’m not sure he’s gonna be able to convince me of this one. TOO WEIRD. NO THANKS, YOU.
But that doesn’t mean YOU can’t tell me all about why I should give a shart about Persona. Tell me in the comments. I triple dog dare you.
