Scribblenauts Unlimited to Have StreetPass Mode on Nintendo 3DS
Scribblenauts Unlimited was announced back at E3 2012 for both the Nintendo 3DS and the upcoming Wii U. The 3DS version, unlike the Wii U version, will be receiving a StreetPass feature that allows players to work together to solve the game’s many puzzles.
Thanks to the newest edition of Nintendo Power, we now know that the StreetPass mode will allow you to see what objects and creations your friends have used to solve in-game challenges, allowing you (or your lazy friends) to see how to overcome an obstacle should they find themselves stuck.
For those unaware, StreetPass is the functionality natively built into the 3DS that allows the system to collect data when it comes into local contact with other nearby 3DS units. So, with this functionality, walking down the sidewalk with your 3DS in tow could land you a couple of new hints for beating that puzzle you’re stumped on.
Pretty neat, huh?
Scribblenauts Unlimited will be out this holiday for the 3DS, and supposedly, at launch for the Wii U.
