Paul Dini Says He’s Not Working on Next Rocksteady Batman Game
Veteran Batman writer (and script-writer for the two smash hit Batman Arkham titles form Rocksteady Studios) Paul Dini has announced via Twitter that he’s not working on the next game from the British developer—whatever that game might wind up being.
The news has been out in the open since last week, it seems, but the games media’s only picking up on it now. On July 27, Dini Tweeted:
Kinda hoped I’d be doing another Arkham game in London during the Olympics.Esp, as I had a good source for tx.Ah, well.

After that, fans started asking the writer questions about the situation, to which he answered that he has no information on any kind of sequel to the hit Arkham franchise from Rocksteady.
A few weeks ago, we reported on rumors that the studio was going to be making a Silver Age-set, Justice League themed game for their next Batstallment. No confirmation or denial of such just yet, and while it makes a certain amount of sense given Warner Brothers’ focus on a JL movie in a couple years, I do wonder if they’d be so quick to change up a franchise that’s been so popular.
Only time will tell…
Sorry to see you go, Mr. Dini. You are the best.
