LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Releasing in North America in September
The newest entry in the LittleBigPlanet franchise, aptly named LittleBigPlanet PS Vita will be arriving on North American shores on September 25 for Sony’s twin-sticked wonder.
Just like past iterations of LBP, you’ll be able to play, create, and share your user-created levels with your friends and the whole world –through the magic of the Internet. Crazy, I know.
Even more crazy is the new story mode, which has familiar protagonist Sack Boy traversing through the unknown world of Carnivalia – aptly named after its Carnival theme (as is apparent in the featurette above). This new story has been lovingly crafted by new-to-the-franchise developers Trasier Studios and Double Eleven Limited, with oversight from the franchise’s original creator, Media Molecule.
The new studio hopes to add its own special touch to the game, especially through the story – keeping what makes LBP fun and familiar, but also adding a new spin or two on gameplay to keep the whole experience fresh as the game goes mobile this September.
