Behind the Scenes of the “Warthog Chase”

Stephen handler, director of Machinima Prime’s Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn live-action series takes us behind the scenes of filming a scene from the series—particularly the “Warthog Chase” scene. It looks pretty awesome, altogether. We even get to see Daniel Cudmore, the guy behind the Master Chief armor—which is really sweet.

We also learn that Peter Osbourne, one of the folks from Weta—the special effects house that made everything for the Lord of the Rings movies—is doing work for the series as well, something I wasn’t aware of. Osbourne goes into detail about the Warthog, which he created and apparently knows better than anyone. Man…so freakin’ cool.

Now, whatever you think about what you’ve seen of the series so far, this looks like it’ll do the Halo series some pretty solid justice, wouldn’t you say? I’m feeling this thing, and I’m looking forward to catching it when it premiers this fall. What say you?
