On Friday, Bethesda VP Pete Hines Tweeted all over the place about how there was no news regarding Skyrim’s DLC, “Dawnguard” for PlayStation 3 and PC. Not that it wasn’t going to happen, but that there was no news. One could infer from the way he phrased it that, indeed, there would be news soon, but fanboys be hatin’.

Anyway, yesterday he Tweeted in response to yet another question about whether or not “Dawnguard” was canceled for PC and PS3, and, yet again, he said that there is NO NEWS. But he also said this:

So there you go. It’s Tuesday, so count on hearing something on Thursday or Friday. And for all you PC Skyrimmers, be sure to head on over to Steam so you can update your game with patch 1.7. What does it do? Eh, I don’t know, stuff I guess. But apparently console versions of the patch will be submitted this week, so they should show up pretty soon, too.
