Assassin’s Creed 3 Might Be Getting Lots of DLC, Even a Season Pass
An interesting image was mailed to Kotaku this weekend from (presumably) a GameStop employee who received a note from Ubisoft regarding Assassin’s Creed 3 DLC. The note details Ubisoft’s appreciation of the store for its help in meeting their pre-order quota of sorts, but also informs them of a “season pass” for DLC that’s currently in the works.
In the note, we also learn that Ubisoft has shaped a team with a very specific goal in mind: creating that post-launch DLC for Assassin’s Creed 3. It seems that they plan to make enough DLC to justify a “season pass” of some kind, a season pass usually being a one-time purchase that entitles its buyer to all forthcoming DLC at a single discounted rate.
There was absolutely no clarification as to the type of DLC the pass will incorporate (if it’s real), so we’ve not the slightest idea if it’s associated with single player or multiplayer (or both). The note is up for your viewing pleasure over on Kotaku, sweet AC3 letterhead and all.
