Rock Band Blitz Gets Release Date
Today Harmonix has announced that their newest installment in the Rock Band franchise, Rock Band Blitz, will be released on August 28 on the PlayStation Network, while it’ll descend on-stage from the rafters on the Xbox LIVE Arcade a day later on August 29. The game will cost $14.99/1200 Microsoft Points.
The game will work just fine with any songs you’ve gotten from previous games in the series, including any tracks you’ve downloaded, but it’ll also come with 20 songs, including four that Harmonix revealed today: Avenged Sevenfold’s “So Far Away,” Fun’s “We Are Young,” Kool & The Gang’s “Jungle Boogie,” and My Chemical Romance’s “Sing.”
So there ya go. Rock Band Blitz, coming out next month. Hooray! If you want some more details on the game, don’t hesitate to check out Fearless Leader Rob Smith’s preview right here.
