SDCC Resident Evil 6 Trailer Has Zombies in it
So there’s a new trailer from San Diego Comic-Con for Capcom’s Resident Evil 6, which is scheduled to be released on October 2. In the trailer, there are lots of creepy zombies and monsters who run around, and you have to, you know, shoot’em and stuff. And they show that in this trailer.
It all seems very high budget and Resident Evily, but I’m kind of like “meeeehhhh” about it. Now, I also freely admit to not really being into the survival horror genre of games, but at the same time, I feel as though this is definitely an example of “we’ve seen this all before.” So what I’d like from you, dear readers, is to take a moment and tell me why you’re excited about Resident Evil 6.
I’m legitimately not trying to be a douche here—I really want to know what’s got you excited about this game, because I can’t figure out what makes this one different from the others. It’s still Raccoon City, right? It’s still zombies and guns and conspiracies…what’s new and different to make this game stand out for you and get you excited? I know there are RE fans out there, so this is your chance to try and tell someone about your favorite game. Lay it on me, folks.

Well, Brian, it’s not Raccoon City. And Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3 are very different from 4 and 5. Resident Evil 1 plot was in a Raccoon Forrest, Resident Evil 2 & were in Raccoon City, Resident Evil 4 was in Spain, Resident Evil 5 was in Africa, and finally I think Resident Evil 6 is in China or Japan, not sure. And Raccoon City was destroyed in RE3, and RE: Outbreak series is in the Raccoon City too, as is RE: Operation Raccoon City. I consider Resident Evil and Silent Hill be one of the best survival Horror games of all time, because they have so much things to do. Of course, some people might get tired to them when they play it only once.
