Origin 9.0 Update On The Way, Comes with New Features
Origin will be receiving a “landmark update” in the coming days, meaning some new features and changes are coming to Electronic Arts’ choice digital distribution platform.
In Origin 9.0, the changes are almost entirely cosmetic, like an added in-game (and in-client) clock, increased control over your games library, and “more navigable” menus. Additionally, the friends list module will now be free-floating, no longer attached to the main client.
The biggest change, as mentioned earlier, is the enhanced “My Games Library”, which will now allow you to scale the display size of the box art – big, small, whatever you like baby, Origin’s got it.
If you want to opt in for beta updates and get your hands on Origin 9.0 ahead of schedule, check out the blog post and change your client settings accordingly.

So basically Origin’s ‘landmark update’ is just them catching up to Steam? Ok.
Great landnmark update, do you want to move your menu in and out. YEA SURE; I’ll take it!
