NASA Releases Free Kinect Game on XBLA
According to a post on Eurogamer, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, also known as NASA, has released a free game for the Xbox Kinect via XBLA. Called Mars Rover Landing, the game tasks players with directing the Mars rover Curiosity to, well, land on Mars. The game is the result of a partnership between Microsoft Studios and Smoking Gun Interactive.
Is the game fun? I have no idea. I’m sure it’s probably fun for a free game. Given the Kinect’s tried and true limitations as a piece of gaming hardware, I’d say that it’s likely that the game probably doesn’t work as well as you’d like. Just a guess.
Anyone out there give it a try? Let us know what you think…
