Tiny Batman Stomps Thugs in Dark Knight Rises Mobile Game

Hey, did you guys hear? There’s a new Batman movie coming out—like, this weekend. It’s called The Dark Knight Rises and—

Oh, you totally already knew about it. Well, did you know that Warner Brothers Interactive and Gameloft are releasing a mobile game based on the movie that will probably not be very good? It’s true! The preview is above, and it shows Batman doing whatever a bat can—like beating up bad guys while wearing a cape.

The trailer does manage to make the game look interesting, sure, but I’m not totally sure on how, you know, you PLAY the thing. Call me a cynic, but I’m just not sure it’s going to be particularly enjoyable—at least as far as games starring Batman are concerned. But we’ll see! It’ll be available for Android and iOS devices on July 20, so keep your eyes peeled for it. I’m totally gonna get a trial version of it if I can…
