ZombiU Gameplay Shows off GamePad

One of the games I’m most looking forward to for the Wii U is ZombiU from Ubisoft. Sure, it’s just another survival horror zombie game, and it’s not like we really need any more of those now. But the game looks like it’ll offer a pretty interesting and cool way to show off the many gameplay capabilities of the Wii U GamePad.

Even though the above gameplay footage from Comic-Con is locked into the screen, there are helpful little examples of what it’ll be like to use the GamePad as you go. Again, the game itself probably won’t win too many awards for originality, but finding new ways to experience games like this is always worth a look.

That said, I can also see some of the potential problems the GamePad is going to create—namely, looking at the pad’s screen while a zombie is coming right at you on the big screen. Though, maybe you could argue that it’s a better representation of what it might be like to try to survive a zombie apocalypse…guess we’ll have to wait for the final product and see.
