Whoops: Willem Dafoe Not in Beyond Two Souls

Remember a few weeks ago when we posted that Willem Dafoe was rumored to be starring in the forthcoming PS3-exclusive from Quantic Dream, Beyond: Two Souls? Turns out that wasn’t entirely, oh, you know, true.

According to a post on Joystiq from yesterday, Quantic Dream’s David Cage was asked point blank about the actor’s involvement in the game. Cage’s response?

“‘Nice try,’ Cage said, shaking his head.”

Now, it’s certainly possible that the “nice try” and subsequent head-shake refers to Joystiq’s attempts to get more details…but chances are that’s not the case. Why deny the actor’s role? As of now, consider Klaus out of the game.
