SWTOR is now Partially Free-To-Play
Announced this week by Bioware and Electronic Arts was the new Free Trial option for Star: Wars The Old Republic, the subscription-based MMO featuring people who use light-sticks that make whoosh sounds.
Anyone with a capable gaming PC can now hop onto SWTOR and play up to level 15 with their character of choice, completely free of charge. So long as they create a new account, Free Trial participants will be allowed to experience the game through any of the 8 character classes, but will be limited to their classes’ Origin World, but with the opportunity to visit the Capital World.
Also, players in trial mode will be able to partipate in PVP Warzones and some flashpoints.
If you’ve participated in one of the free-to-play weekend pass events in the past, or have a friend that’s given you a guest pass, you’re completely eligible to hop in again.
If you want to try your hand at waving a light-stick that makes whoosh sounds, then head on over to the official website and give SWTOR a try.
