Nightwing and Cyborg Join the Fray in Injustice: Gods Among Us

Today Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment revealed two more playable characters in their forthcoming DC Comics-themed fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Jumping into the fight are former Batman sidekick Nightwing, as well as former human being, Cyborg—and they sent along a bunch of super hi-res screens to prove it. The game’s being developed by Mortal Kombat-makers NetherRealm Studios, and is set to come out next year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.

The two join already-announced characters Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Harley Quinn, and Solomon Grundy, and I’m sure we’ll hear of more characters as the months go on. We’ll probably get Green Lantern and Green Arrow announcements soon enough. Who else do you think they’ll throw into the ring? Also, is anyone else kind of under-enthusiastic about this game? Maybe it’s just me…maybe it’s the lingering disappointment of DC’s “New 52,” but everything about this just feels kind of…off.

      That sounds totally reasonable.

haha, they already showed that Superman would Kick Goku’s ass every time. Look up ScrewAttack, Goku vs Superman. They used the official DB encyclopedia and official Superman one as well as other credible sources for the fight. Sorry Goku just isn’t at Superman’s Caliber.

I have played the demo at Comic-con. The controls feel great and its a ton of fun. There’s nothing “off” about it.
