While the interview with Gamezone was posted last week, the news is finally getting spread around today: thechineseroom—current developer of the Amnesia franchise of PC horror games—has confirmed that the next game in the series has been delayed to early 2013. A Machine for Pigs was set to come out this Halloween.

Said the studio’s creative director Dan Pinchbeck:

“…it’s just slid back to early 2013. The quality of the game is the absolute first, last, and always with this development, and we felt it could do with a few more months’ work to make sure that’s really going to happen.”

Guess what: I don’t care when this game comes out. Because I will never, ever play it. Supposedly the previous game is one of the scariest ever, and I’m a humungous pussy. So, yeah, delay it all you want. It makes no difference to me. Frankly, I’d probably sleep better at night if I knew the whole project got scrapped. That’s how much of a wussbag I am.

I guess that means Silent Hill: downpour wins best survival horror game of the year. *sigh*
