New ‘Pyromaniac’ and ‘Carnotaurus’ Classes Unveiled for Primal Carnage
Primal Carnage is a team-based multiplayer game that pits humans against dinosaurs, and it’s really about as fun as it sounds. With five classes on each side to choose from, developer Lukewarm Media has gone ahead and announced the next two classes: the Pyromaniac and the Carnotaurus.
I bet you can’t guess which one’s the dinosaur.
The Pyromaniac is the next class on the human side of the fight, sporting a customized “flamesaw” that brings together two of the greatest things in life: fire and chainsaws. His spouted flames can keep dinosaurs at a comfortable range, but he can opt to use the attached chainsaw when enemies draw near to really “cut” to the chase.
Get it, “cut”?
On the other hand is the Carnotaurus, the “lurking menace” for the team of prehistoric man-eaters. While not as large as say, the T-Rex that’s playable, the Carnotaurus sports speed and force, allowing him to break up groups with a pair of sharp horns and a blistering charge ability. Much like the other classes, he can use his teeth – a slight advantage over the humans, who conversely cannot use their teeth as effectively.
Primal Carnage is set to launch later this year, and will be available on PC through Steam.
Also of note: I played this gem at PAX, and it’s fun — lots of fun.

My childhood is screaming… it wants this…
I have been telling you guys to post something about this for so long….
There hasn’t been an incredible amount of news on the game. Lukewarm is spending quite a bit of time shaping the game, it only makes sense that we only see a little bit once in a while.
Might be worth mentioning that the Beta signs up are opening soon if they are not already open.
