Warballoon Seeks Second Round of Funding for PC Version
Remember way back in September of 2011, when we wrote about Star Command, a slick-looking Star Trek parody game for mobile devices that I’ve been waiting patiently for? Well, it seems as though they’re looking for cash to make a PC version of the game—and they’ve got another Kickstarter page to get that money.
Their goal for the PC port is a healthy $100,000, quite a bit more than the $20,000 they were looking for with the mobile version. But the new funding would be to hire more developers to work on the game.
The iOS and Android version of the game is set to come out soon, and the PC version wouldn’t happen until well after its release. And already, with 28 days left to go, the PC version has nearly $20,000. At this pace, it seems likely that they’ll hit their goal…but you never do know…
Well! It’s been awhile since we’ve had a slew of interesting Kickstarter game projects to write about—and to be fair to Warballoon, their first Star Command page was successful without the benefit of Double Fine’s crazy popular project that a few months down the road. Between this and Ouya, you’ve got some funding to do…

Shouldn’t they have finished the first project they asked to have funded before asking for more money?
It’s my understanding that the project IS finished, and that we’re weeks away from the launch.
