Mysterious T-Shirt Design Hints at Bungie’s Future Project

A Game Informer post from Sunday drops the dime on the mysterious dealings going on over at Bungie, the former developers of Halo that’s now working on a top-secret project for Activision. Over the weekend, the folks at Bungie went and listed a brand-new t-shirt on their company store, which sports a logo that seems to read “FWC,” and has no relation to any previous IPs that the studio has made.

In addition, the product description reads, “Have you seen us wearing shirts like these? Drape yourself in an enigma from our future release.”

So, you know, there’s that.

Nothing is really known about what Bungie’s got going on with Activision, aside from the fact that it’s an exclusive, multi-game, sci-fi shooter franchise codenamed “Desiny,” and that none other than Paul McCartney himself is working on music for…something. Other than that, you’re guess is as good as mine. But no matter what, given the amount of speculation and hype that will undoubtedly surround whatever it turns out to be, there’s no way that it’ll do anything but disappoint. Right? Let’s be real here.

Anyway, what do we think “FWC” stands for? Full wet cloth? Fanciful woolen cat? Fragrant woven chair? It could be ANY ONE OF THOSE. But probably no other possibilities. I have exhausted all of them.

You know, if you turn the picture upsides down and hold it to a mirror it it reads TMC. You can also turn it 90• anti-clockwise and read U3 (or E) U or Y. Though I doubt I’ve cracked any bungie code, just clutching at straws. ‘TMC’ The Master Chief, though that’s unlikly. Truly Massive cheques? That’s Mighty Cleaver? Too Much Control? Who knows… (except bungie… And activison… And potentially the console makers… And that guy who’s always leaking stuff…)
