Angry Birds Trilogy Headed to PS3, Xbox 360 and 3DS
There’s no doubting that the Angry Birds franchise is a smash hit, and not only for the world of mobile games. It’s one of the most popular games of all-time, topping out at well-over 50-million downloads on mobile devices. Now, as many anticipated, the trilogy of Angry Birds games is headed to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS in the form of a trilogy pack.
“You can think of the game as the ultimate collector’s edition,” said Rovio Executive VP Petri Järvilehto.
“There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen.”
The Angry Birds Trilogy comes with the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio on one disc (or 3DS game pack). Oddly enough though, Angry Birds Space won’t be included.
Each level will have individual leaderboards, but achievements have yet to be announced – just hold on a bit longer Gamerscore-hungry freaks, I’m sure they’ll be there.
The backgrounds have been animated, we’ve added lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, the list goes on and on,” Järvilehto also mentioned.
“We believe that there are a lot of people on the consoles who appreciate a great casual game play experience. This is a game that resonates across a wide audience on many platforms.”

I’m never making the mistake of buying Angry Birds on a PS3 ever again.
