Tons of New Super Mario Bros. 2 Screens

Today, Nintendo opened their vault and unleashed a torrent of new screenshots for next month’s New Super Mario Bros. 2. And here they are! Nearly 70 screens and concept art shots from the game that drops on August 19 for the 3DS. One of the things I noticed was that Golden Mario is accompanied by his brother…who’s been dipped in silver. Always in second place, Luigi. Sorry, man.

Anyway, the shots show us more of that standard Super Mario goodness. This game will not really bring too much that’s new to the table, but, really, that’s okay. It’s going to be fun, and difficult, and really some great platforming action. When it’s Mario, chances are it’ll be a good time. What do you think?
