Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD to Gain Revert Moveset Through $5 DLC

Arriving shortly after launch (roughly a month or so), some new DLC will be available for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD in the form of remade THPS3 levels and characters. The biggest addition among these is the return of the “revert” move set, which allowed players to chain together trick combos that simply couldn’t be done in the first two titles.

Though the return of revert is welcomed, there’s a small caveat: it will only work within the confines of the DLC, meaning the mechanic will only work with the new levels from THPS3. An Activision rep (when discussing with Joystiq) mentioned that this is because “reverts were introduced in THPS3 and the levels were designed accordingly.”

Also of note, Airport will be one among three new levels from THPS3 to be introduced in the DLC, alongside several more skate-world icons.

The DLC will cost $5.

Am I the only one here that wants Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 to get some gosh dang recognition? That game is simply fantastical — plus I really want that London level to make an HD return.
