Terminal, the Modern Warfare 2 map rumored to make its way over to Modern Warfare 3 is now heading exactly there after all, as revealed by Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin in a culmination of tweets. As ex-creative strategist at the company Robert Bowling once predicted, this map will be free to all, regardless of whether you’re an elite subscriber or not.

Rubin mentioned that the map is now making its way through Microsoft certification and the official confirmation of its approval might not drop until Thursday or Friday of this week. Though free of charge, we’re not sure exactly what that means in terms of the usual Xbox 360 map timed-exclusivity – guess we’ll just have to wait and see if everyone gets it simultaneously.

Regardless, rejoice in the name of free things! Oh and good luck capping B flag – she’s a toughie.

Ahh the good old memories i have from this map. Any MW2 map, actually.. That game seems almost perfect now. Will Activision ever grow a pair, go on to almost any forum or blog, and do something the community wants?why cant they make a free,or heck,a cheaper but still paid “classic” map pack with some of the best maps from all cods? Or at least just the MW games… I would so buy it if there was highrise! :D
