An Hour of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 Footage Surfaces Online

To celebrate the milestone of getting 1,000 subscribers to its YouTube channel, video game site Past to Present is rewarding its loyal viewers with about an hours’ worth of footage from a pre-alpha build of Star Wars: Battlefront 3. The game was in development with the now-shuttered Free Radical Design, and every time news or footage of the game makes its way to the internet, folks tend to go a little crazy. This hour of footage is, so far, the longest glimpse we’ve gotten into what the game was shaping up to be.

The video offers views of Cloud City on Bespin, Desolation Station, the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyk, and lots of console crashes—this is a pre-alpha, after all. The choppy framerate is another symptom of its unfinished nature.

Why does the world not kickstart this or a sequel to the ever epic game Freelancer.

So many good games that big corporations cancelled.

Just wondering, how on earth has this guy, and quite a few others got the alpha version all of a sudden? I havent seen any sort of gameplay footage till now.

I dont think Lucasarts will ever make Battlefront 3. They never have and never will listen to their consumer base.Star wars battlefront 2 in their eyes is still alive due to the modding community, even then its online is completely dead.

It be nice, but i doubt it will ever happen

Do we really need another stupid Star Wars game?? I say either make another movie that doesn’t suck or put that shit to bed. How many times can you rehash the same old crap???
