Vita to Support PS Classics this Summer

A post on Andriasang reports that the PlayStation Vita will have PS Classics support with Firmware Update 1.8—and that Sony will be releasing the new firmware sometime this summer. The PS Classics service, for those who don’t know, is basically a pretty hefty lineup of PlayStation and PSP games that are available on the PlayStation Network. It sure will be nice to be able to play Metal Gear Solid on the go, man.

Not much else to this story, but it’s always nice to hear about more options for gaming with my poor, dust-collecting PlayStation Vita.

This is pretty bad… I’m more excited about running Resident Evil 1 on a Vita than any game they currently have for it… We shall wait and see…

This should have been enabled since it’s release seeing as the psp supports it. I’m more interested in future ps2 support.
