Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection For Wii Contains Six Classic Kirby Games
Announced months ago, the Kirby 20th Anniversary Collection collects classic Kirby games from previous console iterations and compiles them onto one disc for the Nintendo Wii. The included games are as follows:
- Kirby’s Dream Land (Game Boy)
- Kirby’s Adventure (NES)
- Kirby Super Star (SNES)
- Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (SNES)
- Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64)
Oddly, all of these games are currently/have been purchasable through digital means on Wii and 3DS, so it’s possible that you already own one or more of these. However, if you’re a big Kirby fan, or someone new to the series and wouldn’t mind experiencing a franchise’s evolution first-hand, this collection might be of value to you.
It also comes with a soundtrack CD and booklet, as well as an in-game library that walks you through the timeline of Kirby’s video game history.
We’ve received no word on price or release date just yet (except for Japan, who gets it on July 19), but it’s plausible to imagine it’ll launch sometime this year for less than or equal to the regular Wii retail price.

This is old news -_-
Kirby Super Star came out on SNES, not on the original NES. I should know, I beat that game 3 times over as a kid.
