Sonic Adventure 2 Spotted on Xbox Website, Might be HD Re-Release

Sonic Adventure 2, sequel to the much-loved classic Sonic Adventure, has seen a few iterations.  It was first introduced on the same console as its predecessor, the Sega Dreamcast. It was later ported to the Nintendo GameCube as Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, incorporating a number of new multiplayer features.

Now, it appears that the game might be coming to Xbox Live Arcade, if an accidentally leaked listing of the game on Xbox.com is any indication. Yes, yesterday evening, Xbox.com played host to a supposedly accidental publishing of a listing for Sonic Adventure 2, complete with all of its original content (and the magnificent Chao Gardens) all in beautifully up-scaled high definition.

No word yet on if this potential re-release will contain the battle features of the GameCube release.

The original Sonic Adventure has already seen a release on Xbox Live Arcade, why wouldn’t the sequel see one as well?

Let’s hope it’s true – I really, really, really miss my chao gardens.

Seriously, how can you NOT love these things?

    oh these bring back memories sa2 introduced me to the sonic games in general so having an XBLA release will be great i hope it comes out soon
