Kojima Offers up Details on Metal Gear Solid 5 to French Magazine
A French video game magazine by the acronym IG (definitely not Inside Gaming, by the way) has apparently been given details related to Metal Gear Solid 5 – and directly from the mouth of series creator himself, Hideo Kojima.
“About Metal Gear Solid 5, I can tell you two things. There will be much question of infiltration, espionage, and convincing people to give you ‘a favour’ like in the last Metal Gear Solid.
“I liked the idea of social interactions in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but we will see. And if I say more, the female ninja public relations officer, who is behind the door, I will be carved up into pieces. So it’s better that we meet again when the time comes to talk about Metal Gear Solid 5.”
Aside from the game’s existence and the hints offered above, we know virtually nothing else about Konami’s upcoming sequel. Unlike previous speculation, the game may feature Solid Snake after all, if Kojima’s hints are to be taken seriously:
“We have not yet finished with Solid Snake, despite the fact that I wanted to let him die at the end of Guns of the Patriots.”
Yes, I’m aware what’s wrong with the picture we chose…it could use better lighting, maybe a few more colors.

Didnt Kojima say he wanted to leave Metal Gear alone? I wonder how much money Konami have given him to get him on board.
That and I’m sure he’d be getting death threats again if he wasn’t going to be apart of MGS anymore…
He has wanted to leave it since the original Metal Gear.
What normally happens he lets other people start on the next one then it doesn’t stay to his original idea so he steps in to fix it. I think now he’s just decided to be the one to start with it to save time.
and we all know where you heard all of that right?
(all your history are belong to us)
but shhhh, it’s a secret
