A post on Eurogamer today reports that the British Board of Film Classification has let the cat out of the bag on a collected edition of BioShock. Called BioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition, the package will provide gamers with the first and second games in the franchise, as well as all of the DLC that’s been released.

The classification offers major spoilers for the story (which I’m not going to repost here). In addition, there’s no word yet on when the game will come out, how much it will cost, or whether or not there will be any other extras. But hey! New BioShock collection! Collections are all the rage these days with the kids.

I bought the first BioShock used, and after playing it for about an hour, it was way too intense and scary for me, so I ditched it. Of course, that was also during a time when video games wasn’t my full-time job. Now I’m slightly less of a pussy. Slightly. I think I’ll give this a go when it eventually gets released…

I’ve been obsessed with Bioshock 2 ever since it came out. The first was good too, but the second one was more refined in terms of story and gameplay mechanics. I’d bite this if it was reasonably priced.

I have both of them and i am an absolute fanatic of the first one, i search for every excuse to just play once more (at least parts of it). Its funny because the very first time i played it, it just freaked me out til i couldnt play it (the medical wing is like a trial by fire in terms of how scary it is) but eventually i continued and ended up being one of my favorite games of all time. im not sure about getting the collection, that depends (at least for me) on how many bonuses it has because there are not a lot of dlcs for it.
