Metal Gear Online Goes Offline Today

Nothing good lasts forever, especially if you’re a Metal Gear fan waking up today. Sadly, Metal Gear Online is shutting down for good today at 23:59 JST (Japan Standard Time).

It was originally slated to only stay online for 3 years. But “out of respect”  for loyal fans, they continued to push the dreaded deadline further and further back, until they couldn’t push any longer.

If you’ve got the time, load it up and give it a few more rounds and minutes of your time – it might be the last Metal Gear multiplayer experience you see for a while – or good one anyway.
