Do you ever wish that you could watch silly cat videos on your morning commute? Do you ever wonder how cool it would be to watch SeaNanners while waiting at the bus stop before school? All the other kids would be so jealous.

Well thanks to Sony, you can be the talk of the school yard before month’s end – an official YouTube app will be available for free for all PlayStation Vita owners by “the end of June”, according to SCEA director of handheld consoles product planning and platform software innovation Don Mesa (also the world record holder of longest job title ever of all time).

We’re not sure exactly how feature-specific the Vita’s video-perusing app will be, or if you’ll be able to upload our own videos via the Vita’s built-in camera. However, we do know that you’ll be able to attach your account to your Vita, search for videos, favorite and comment on videos, and most importantly, watch videos.

If only there was a show or event where Sony could announce such an application, and possibly detail it further so we’d be more informed on the matter.

Oh, right. See you guys next week.
