Carmageddon: Reincarnation Surpasses Funding Goal With Ten Days to Go

By Landon Robinson | 28 May 2012 | 1 Comment

Carmageddon: Reincarnation, the modern iteration of the pedestrian mauling, automobile destruction series from the 90s, has tipped the scales of its Kickstarter goal with ten days left on the clock. Stainless Games, the folks working on the game, have posted a video to YouTube and their Kickstarter page in glorious celebration of collecting over $400,000 of funding for the game.

They planned on doing a countdown live-stream of the funding goal being attained, but fans apparently caught them off-guard and sped past the goal much quicker than expected.

Carmageddon: Reincarnation was first announced back in May, and has had over 11,093 fans donate to the project so far. The game is due out in February 2013 and will release on PC through Steam.

If you still want to donate, the project page is still open for donations until June 6 at 11pm, so get to it!
