Ghost Recon: Final Mission and Assassin’s Creed III, two titles never before mentioned for the PlayStation Vita, have been found on retailer websites – both listed for launch on the device in 2012.

Ghost Recon: Final Mission is an unannounced entry in the franchise – we’ve never heard of it until today. But thanks to retailer GAME and their listing of the title, we have an indication that it might actually be in the works by Ubisoft.

It’s listed for the PlayStation Vita alongside a “TBC 2012” launch date.

While Ghost Recon: Final Mission is certainly surprising news to us, Assassin’s Creed 3 isn’t quite as much – Ubisoft had previously announced that an AC game was in development for Sony’s handheld, but no specifics were given regarding whether it was a new iteration or simply a port of this year’s AC III.

As retailer Zavvi lists it though, Assassin’s Creed III is heading to the PlayStation Vita this year – whether or not it will be alongside the console/pc version at launch is yet to be determined.

With E3 right around the corner, it wouldn’t surprise us if these titles were discussed over the course of the week. In fact, we’d be pretty surprised if they didn’t.

liked bloodlines, but porting something as advanced as Assasins Creed 3 to a portable system? might not end being so purty

Yeah, but it’s the Vita. It’ll probably look pretty good. Not as good as console, but up there, man.

It will most likely use the cross play between PS3 and Vita so hopefully it wont make it a bad port.
