FYI: PSN Scheduled Maintenance Today

The PlayStation Network is going to be the PlayStation “Notwork” for a good chunk of the day today, as the service will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. PDT.

Fear not dearest PlayStation users, as not all aspects of your precious service will be taken down – only the PlayStation Store and PlayStation Home will be inaccessible. Online play and other entertainment apps like Netflix and Amazon Instant will run normally as they should.

This applies to folks that have signed onto the network within the last five days; which, if you haven’t, means you’ll be out of luck (and out of PlayStation) for about 15 hours today.

You’ll be at work or school anyway! Well, for some of it.
