Jumping headfirst into the foray of game convention hosting is none other than retail sales leader GameStop, who will be holding the GameStop Expo in the heat of summer on August 29 in San Antonio, Texas.

Previously exclusive to GameStop employees, the show will now be accessible to any able-bodied reward card holding customers. The 200,000 square foot expo will host a slew of unreleased new games, special game industry guests, and even some competitions.

You can attend in one of two ways: with a regular attendee ticket, or as a VIP, each costing $35 and $100 respectively. VIP tickets allow you access to VIP only lines, an exclusive gaming lounge, and presentations from industry leaders.

Regular tickets may net you a day old pretzel or something – alongside admission to the show of course, which is confirmed.

Check out the official website for more. No word yet on if you can trade in your used games directly for a ticket, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
