Square Enix Registers Domains for Just Cause 4
Despite the fact that we haven’t even caught word of Just Cause 3 being in development, Square Enix went ahead and plopped down the cash for URL registrations for “JustCause4” via URL proxy registrant Corporation Service Company.
Avalanche Studios, the company behind the Just Cause franchise, has quite simply kept the project chatter to a minimum since the release of Just Cause 2, which released to good critical acknowledgement and commercial success.
In regards to if we’d see a third iteration of Just Cause, studio head Christofer Sundberg said in 2010 that we “shouldn’t be surprised” to see one. Interestingly enough, the team is hard at work in both their Swedish and New York offices on something they’re calling “Project Mamba.”
Hopefully we’ll see more at E3 in the coming weeks, because I’m seriously itching for more skydiving, grappling hook, and explosion-heavy madness.
I mean, not counting the severe-repetition and sub-par voice acting, isn’t everyone?
