Check Out This Burning Building in Far Cry 3

Courtesy of an exclusive video over at Game Trailers, we now have some fresh footage to glance over and judge of Ubisoft’s upcoming jungle-romping, ‘shroom munching, Ak-47 blasting simulator, Far Cry 3.

Showcasing some lightly scripted gameplay from a “Burning Building” scenario, the trailer takes you through a sequence you might find familiar if you played Uncharted 3, or caught the early “burning chateau ”preview that followed a similar concept.

With the majority of the trailer merely showcasing the game’s pretty graphics and tactical environments like using water pipes to extinguish flames, I’m actually more flabbergasted at how strong the main character is — the dude blew that door to splinter-sized smithereens with the simple swing of a pocket knife.

Man is a legend I tell you – or that’s one freaking powerful knife.

    Don’t want to be harsh, but the guy’s voice?? Sounded off to me.. I’m hoping it was because of the smoke and not just bad voice acting. Ah actually why should I care as long as the game is fun I can overlook faults.

    Game looks very polished. Are they using a new game engine?

    “There’s fire everywhere” he says while running through a burning building…..You Don’t Say.

    I Do hope this guy has some intelligence or Far Cry 2′s ‘I say nothing’ guy is a better character.
    Either then that this is looking pretty good.
