Slow Down Time with Spidey’s Web Rush

This here new trailer from developer Beenox takes the time to explain the ways players can slow down time and figure out how they want to smash bad guys in the face using the new Web Rush mechanic. It all looks pretty cool, and if executed well in Activision’s upcoming Amazing Spider-Man movie adaptation, it might be enough to bring the franchise back from the doldrums.

The last couple games in the Spider-Man series have been pretty okay, but what it needs is some rock solid gameplay options and open-world web-swinging. If this Web Rush thing is as cool as they SAY it’ll be, everything should work out fine. I’ve got the thing pre-ordered (because Stan Lee), but I’m still somewhat skeptical…
