Notable Portables: Dates for Rayman Origins on 3DS and Metal Gear Solid HD for Vita Announced
Did you see the title of this post? If you did, then you know exactly what’s in this post. So here we go.
Rayman Origins, which, it turns out, is pretty awesome (I’m playing it now for the Vita), is going to be hitting you in the face in THREE DIMENSIONS on the 3DS on June 5. Apparently, the game will also have a free demo that you can download from the eShop and give it a try. The game is a real test of twitch reflexes and platforming skills. I’m constantly impressed by it (and frustrated by how tough it can be). If you’ve been hoping for a solid 3DS title for a while, this one’s for you.
About a week later, Konami’s gonna be dropping a portable version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PlayStation Vita on June 12. While I think a game like that would probably be better if played on a big TV screen, it’ll still probably be pretty bad ass for the Vita.
So there you go. Two portable games that are KNOWN to be good. Go buy them.
