Borderlands 2 Limited Editions Unveiled
I guess it’s official: we’re now in that period of time where publishers announce all the crazy crap you’ll get for with their games that come out in the fall. The hype machine is going, and here’s some of the junk you can get with September’s Borderlands 2 from 2K Games.
There’s two different limited editions of the game, apparently: the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition and the Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition, which cost $99.99 and $149.99, respectively. So if you buy one of these, you better really love Borderlands. Like, a lot.
Anyway, the Deluxe version will have the game (OBVS), a Marcus Kincaid bobblehead, an art book, collectible stickers (!), a map, digital comic download code, and in-game digital content.
The Loot Chest has LL that stuff, plus a replica of the red loot chests found throughout the game, as well as a steel book case, a creatures ID chart, a lithograph postcard set, field notes from Sir Hammerlock, a cloth map of the game’s world, and a certificate of authenticity.
Geez Louise that’s a ton of stuff.
Not only that, but pre-ordering either version grant them entry into the “Borderlands 2 Premier Club,” which gives even moooooore stuff. Which is in this image right here, because I’m tired of retyping the stuff you can get:
Any of this stuff tickle your fancy? Or are you gonna just stick with the plain Jane version?

That is what collector editions should have – replica stuff. Especially if they can be used for other things. Unlike a certain limited edition that came with a unwearable, space consuming helmet and stand…
Hey, that helmet makes me feel better… don’t be bashin my useless helmet.
*better about myself
1,000 aporogies!
(insert seppuku here)
But seriously, I want to be able to use stuff I pay extra for. I wanted to wear that helmet and play Halo at the same time. That would have been so cool…
