In “sweet goodness this looks amazing” news, Uncharted developer Naughty Dog has released an all new cinematic trailer for The Last of Us, a PlayStation 3 exclusive set to launch…well, sometime — our guess is 2013.
Starting off as a quiet, calming trailer oddly reminiscent of Will Smith’s I Am Legend, the video quickly similarly escalates with an “oh snap” moment that makes trailers such a gosh dang effective marketing tool.
It’s relatively brief, so give it a watch — I can not only guarantee you’ll not regret it, but I’m pretty sure it’ll inspire you to add it to your watch list for the next few months.
