Joining the other members of the “hey, let’s just release next year” group is the South Park RPG from THQ and Obsidian Entertainment. Following the lead of other key titles like Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider, the game has been delayed until Q1 2013.

Additionally, another planned-to-be THQ-published title from Ninja Gaiden creator Tomonobu Itagaki, Devil’s Third, is in trouble of not only missing its slated April 2013 release date, but might not come out at all — given a publishing partner isn’t found.

THQ spoke with Kotaku on the matter at hand, saying that they’re “looking at strategic opportunities on the title.”

But they explicitly clarified: “As a project self-funded by THQ, that’s not going to happen.”

Check out the whole story on Devil’s Third over on Kotaku.

Hope it gets released eventually. I’m looking forward to it.

Based THQ. I hope Obsidian gets enough time to polish a product for once.

    I noticed a typo. “Devi’s Third.”
