A post on Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s reveals that Mojang’s Xbox 360 version of Minecraft has sold over one million copies in the five days since its release. He also released some “fun facts”:

So far, there have been 5.2 million total online hours, four million multiplayer sessions, and 2.4 million total multiplayer gaming hours. That’s pretty great, and not at all unexpected for this game. In addition, on the game’s first 24 hours of release, it racked up over 400,000 sales, making it the fastest selling game in XBLA history, according to Hryb.

Oh, Notch. Is there any world you can’t conquer?
