Game-Breaking Bug Found in Diablo III

diablo 3 bug

A post on Eurogamer reports that players have already found a game-breaking bug in Diablo III, the smash hit that was finally released today. The post says that gamers are kicked out of the game’s servers “after interacting with the Templar follower, who you meet early in the game.” Then they see the error 3006 message and can’t log back in, with some gamers having reported that they’re completely locked out.

Theories about what triggers the bug include equipping the Templar with a shield, or being specific to the Demon Hunter class. According to the post, Blizzard is working on a hotfix for the error as I write this…but that’s got to be irritating for players and for Blizzard.

Anyone out there get Error 3006? Any other bugs found yet?

That’s strange. They might have fixed it already but I play demon hunter and have not had any issues with the templar thus far.

Well, I was planning on playing Demon Hunter so that kinda sucks if it is linked to the class. Haven’t even gotten to log in yet though as I just got home and now they’re doing server maintenance :/

This is why DRM is killing the industry. I’m happy I avoided this game and I will happily go back to playing D2.

Me thinks its a good idea to wait for a bit, ugh the more I here about this the more i’m glad that while I have it I an patient and can wait till they iron out all the bugs(for a game that supposed to be able to play on your most basic comps this is a kick in the shins and for blizzard to require the always on internet, we are beginning to see the montser that has been born.

All I want is for blizzard to update and release warcraft 2 so I can play that on windows seven, but things like this make me sad
