Tomb Raider Delayed To Early 2013
Since that fantastically filthy new Lara Croft was shown off in demo form at E3 last year, many in the game world have been hotly anticipating her glorious return to…well, glory. Originally slated for release this fall, developer Crystal Dynamics has made the executive decision to delay Tomb Raider into the first quarter of 2013.
“Our priority now is to make sure we fully deliver the very highest quality game,” Crystal Dynamics Head Darrell Gallagher mentioned in the game’s forums. He also mentioned the team is aiming at making “the best game of our careers.”
Well, with two big titles dropping out of the fall season (Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite) and settling in for an early 2013 release, it seems like we’re up for another disappointing autumn for gaming. Sigh.
*Looks at calendar.*

Oh wait — never mind. Autumn rules for gaming. Carry on.
