vf5 final showdown

I did not know this was happening, but you can consider me officially interested now that I know it is: Sega announced today that it’s going to be releasing Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown for PSN and XBLA on June 5 for about $15/1,200 MSP. I think it’s pretty cool that Sega’s going ahead and releasing a full version of a game online for such a low price…though, it should be noted that to get the character customization packs with every item, that’ll cost you another $20 or so in DLC packs. So, you know, not perfect. But still, full-fledged, fully realized fighting game for not very much cash.

I’m thinking about it…it’s been years since I’ve played a Virtua Fighter game, but I remember them as being pretty damn solid. Will you be dropping the $15?

If I had a PS3 I’d definitely drop my cash. VF-Fans around the globe have been eagerly waiting for a current VF to be released to home-consoles. Sega have announced VF5 FS quite some time ago, though. But doesn’t seem to be a well known fact outside of the community.
So I must ‘say thank’ you for mentioning the release in your blog and direct attention to the franchise.
Sadly, not a lot of people seem to care about Virtua Fighter anymore.

    Greetings form Germany.
