Doctor Who Game’s New Release Date Finally Revealed
I was looking forward to getting the chance to play the new downloadable game, Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock when it was originally scheduled to be released back in March. Then March came and went with nary a peep from the game’s developer, Supermassive Games, which is working with BBC Worldwide on bringing the Doctor to PS3, Vita, and PC. Then April happened, and I couldn’t find any information on when the game would hit. Probably a something wrong with the TARDIS’s navigation circuits or whatever. And sexy Italian fish vampires. That’s always what happens.
But a post on Digital Spy today finally gave us something a little more concrete. Apparently the PlayStation 3 version of the game will be available next Wednesday on May 23, while the Vita version comes next month on June 13. As for the PC version, that’s apparently coming “later in the year.”
All this, of course, may wind up being specific to Europe. Who knows if it’ll even still make its way to the States? Until I see another post on the US PlayStation Blog about it, I’ll remain skeptical. Harumph.
