New Awesomenauts DLC and Patch on the Way, Half A Million Games Played
In a press release sent out recently, Awesomenauts developer Ronimo Games announced that over half a million games have been played since launch, and that they’re working on getting new DLC and a patch out as soon as possible.
“Our forums have exploded with new users all discussing the balance, and you can rest assured that we’re listening to your feedback.
So far the consensus appears that the game is already fairly well balanced, which is great. But of course a game like this is never perfect so we’re looking into balance changes right now.
We’re expecting to post our first patch notes sometime next week.”
Aside from work on the patch and forming future downloadable content, the team has released a sneak peek at one of the upcoming heroes for the game: the first female Awesomenaut (pictured above).
No details were given on the new character, but we look forward to hearing all about her powers, abilities, and role in the game.
This all comes as good news after the last-minute fright-fest that was the almost-canned launch of Awesomenauts – all due to the insolvency of the game’s publisher dtp Entertainment just prior to the game’s slated release date. As it turns out, the publisher is on a path to surpassing their business issues and plans on continual support of Awesomenauts.
